Privacy Policy

Robit Digital respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the Site and when you contact us, why we collect it, how we use, share and protect it, and the rights you have. It is written to comply with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and the regulations under it (including the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017 and Amendment No. 13), and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

1. Who is responsible

The controller (“database owner” under Israeli law) of the personal data described here is Robit Digital, HaRokmim 27, Holon, Israel, support@robitdigital.com.

2. What we collect and why

• Contact and enquiry data — your name, company, market or sector, telephone number, WhatsApp number, e-mail address and the content of your message — when you fill in the “Book a discovery” form, message us on WhatsApp, call or e-mail us. We use it to answer you, schedule and hold a discovery call, prepare a proposal and, if you become a client, manage the relationship. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract; our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries; your consent where required.
• Technical and log data — IP address, approximate country, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, time stamps and error reports — collected automatically by our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) as standard server logs. We use it to keep the Site secure, available and performing, and to detect abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the Site.
• Business-relationship data — if you become a client, the data reasonably required to deliver, invoice and support the services under the Services Agreement. Legal basis: performance of the contract and compliance with our legal obligations (tax, accounting).

We do not knowingly collect data from minors, we do not collect special categories of data (such as health, biometric or political data), and we ask you not to send us such data. Providing your data is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot reply to you.

3. The contact form and WhatsApp

The Site is a static website with no back-end of its own. When you press “Continue on WhatsApp”, the details you typed are placed into a pre-filled WhatsApp message and opened in your WhatsApp application or in WhatsApp Web; they are not stored on our servers at that moment. From then on the conversation is processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.) under WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy and Terms, which you accept by using WhatsApp, and by Robit Digital on the receiving device. WhatsApp may transfer data outside your country, including to the United States.

4. Cookies and analytics

At the date of this Policy the Site itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not load third-party tracking pixels. Fonts and videos are served from our own hosting. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver the Site securely. If we introduce analytics or marketing tools we will update this Policy and our Cookie Notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. See the Cookie Notice for details.

5. Who we share data with

• Service providers that host and operate the Site and our business tools (Google Firebase / Google Cloud, Meta / WhatsApp, e-mail, calendar, CRM, document and video-conferencing providers), under agreements that restrict their use of the data to providing the service to us.
• Our human strategists, contractors and professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) bound by confidentiality, to the extent needed for the purposes above.
• Authorities, courts or regulators where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Robit Digital, our clients or others.
• A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, under continued confidentiality.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. International transfers

We are based in Israel, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries; where that happens from the EEA or UK we rely on the providers’ Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

7. Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and, if no engagement follows, for up to 24 months so that we can respond if you come back. Client data is kept for the term of the Services Agreement and afterwards for as long as required by tax, accounting and limitation-period rules (generally 7 years in Israel). Server logs are kept for a short rolling period set by the hosting provider. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

8. Security

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk, including HTTPS encryption of the Site, security headers, access limitation, reputable cloud providers and staff confidentiality undertakings, in line with the Israeli Data Security Regulations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data we will act as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Under Israeli law you have the right to inspect personal data held about you in our database and to request the correction or deletion of data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date (Sections 13–14 of the Protection of Privacy Law). If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland you may also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any right write to support@robitdigital.com; we may need to verify your identity. We answer within the time the law allows.

10. Marketing messages

We send marketing e-mails, messages or calls only with the consent required by Section 30A of the Israeli Communications Law or other applicable law, or to existing clients about similar services where the law permits. Every marketing message includes a way to opt out, and you can also opt out at any time by writing to us.

11. Links to other sites

The Site links to third-party sites and services (WhatsApp, Google Maps, social networks). Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
